5 October, 2026In August 2026, Seadent officially introduced the Damon Smile Vietnam website at [https://damonsmile.com.vn/]. The platform was developed to provide in-depth information about Ormco’s Damon bracket system, while also expanding its content on orthodontics and braces treatment.
The Damon system uses a passive self-ligating bracket mechanism, in which the archwire is secured by an integrated sliding door on the bracket. This is one of the key differences compared with some bracket systems that use elastic ligatures.
Through Damon Smile Vietnam, users can learn about the operating principles of Damon technology, the characteristics of the bracket-and-archwire system, and the product lines currently used in orthodontic treatment, including Damon Ultima™, Damon Q2, and Damon Clear2.
Each product line is developed with its own specific characteristics. Damon Ultima™ focuses on enhanced control of tooth movement; Damon Q2 is designed to provide flexibility for a wide range of orthodontic requirements; while Damon Clear2 uses clear materials, making it suitable for patients who are concerned about aesthetics during orthodontic treatment.
In addition to product information, the website explains concepts related to self-ligating brackets, archwires, torque, tooth rotation, tooth inclination, and three-dimensional control of tooth movement. The content is presented in an easy-to-understand manner, helping users become more familiar with orthodontic terms that are often highly technical.
Damon Smile Vietnam also develops a knowledge library covering orthodontic treatment procedures, types of braces, treatment duration, appropriate orthodontic age, retainers, orthodontic appliances, and oral care while wearing braces. Topics such as overbite, underbite, spacing, crowding, and malocclusion are also regularly updated to provide readers with a more comprehensive overview.
