Gaps between teeth can make you less confident when smiling.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Van Anh (born 1994) came to Nhu Ngoc Dental Clinic with the desire to improve her smile while preserving her natural teeth as much as possible. Although the gaps between her front teeth were not too large, they became quite noticeable whenever she smiled or took photos. In addition, she felt that her front teeth were small, the tooth crowns were short, and her smile was not truly harmonious with her face.
After a clinical examination, the dentist noted:
- The gap between teeth 11 and 12 was about 1mm.
- The gap between teeth 21 and 22 was about 2mm.
- A mild gummy smile of about 1 – 2mm. The crown height of the upper front teeth was short, and the height-to-width ratio of the crowns was unbalanced.
- The shape of the teeth was small and lacked aesthetic appeal.
- The buccal corridors on both sides were wide, making the smile look less full.
